        I ride 3 miles to work every day; rain, shine, snow, hurricane, tidal wave, you name it. I'm always there at 7am on the road. The rubber comes 4" south centerline on my 700c's You can adjust them right down on the tire and they don't creep out of true and start rubbing. All stainless hardware is included. They go on in 5-10 min.
        In Our winterly slurry they keep all the salt, sand, and fly ash off of me. I rinse the bike down almost every night and they stand up to some pretty aggressive scrubbing. The minute these break I'm getting another pair. My real question is "When do the Break? 2yrs...5yrs? EVER????"

          I bought these fenders in the fall and have put 600 miles on them over the winter. They are great! I have used them in every weather condition except for snow. They give full protection, easy to install/adjust, and are durable. Sometimes I ride the train for part of my commute and they easily handle being banged around. If for some reason I lose them, or if they break etc., the first thing I'll do is buy another pair.

            I'm a year-round bike commuter, and a set of Cascadias was probably the 2nd thing (after a rack) I bought to outfit my bike. They are long. They have mudflaps that come down to at least hub height, so I don't have to install half a water bottle to make them effective. It's been a couple of years since I put them on, and they're holding up fine. I love seeing all that filth on their insides, because that means I don't find it striped up ME.
