I learned about these bars a couple of years ago from one of the nutritionists who created them. I frankly find them to be of a higher caliber than other nutrition bars. What I enjoy the most is that they are very tasty, but not so good that I want to overeat them. I always carry one in my bag to fill in for those times between meals where I need a little something to keep me going. I sometimes eat them for breakfast. I sent them to a nephew in Colorado who is gluten intolerant and he likes them! I also shared them with my mother; she keeps them in her golf bag. I've been shipping them to her from Seattle, so she is excited that you have started carrying them so she can buy them locally [...] Thank you, REI, for selling these!

I love these bars. Blueberry Almond and Peanut Butter Chocolate are the best flavors. These have protein and fiber, but are soy free and lower in sugar than other bars. So many bars out there have soy-based protein, which I'm trying to limit for myself. The only complaints I have: these bars are hard to find and when I do find them they can cost 3 times as much as other bars!

I saw these while at REI and picked up the blueberry. I have tried lots of nutrition bars trying to find one I like for a pre-running fuel. Most either taste terrible or have a terrible texture, or are just tolerable but certainly not enjoyable. This bar has a great texture and flavor. Easy to chew, not too sweet, great ingredients. A little pricey for everyday use for me but for something easy grab before those long Saturday runs totally worth it!
