              Purchased this item to go with the new camelbak hydropak and i was very surprized how well it worked. Used on one week boy scout summer camp and the water jugs at camp were filled with a water hose and did not have the water hose taste.

                This may have been my own ignorance, but when I first attached the filter to my full bladder, I didn't realize there was no valve to stop the water from flowing out the top of the filter (I hadn't connected my tube to the filter yet). The bladder and filter sat in my pack for a few minutes before I realized there was water leaking all over. So, be sure to attach the filter to your tube BEFORE you attach it to your bladder. Other than that, it's a great product. The water tasted great and the flow was not restricted at all.
