            I really tried to like this sandal, but my feet didn't well for it. I walk with my toe up and because of that it made walking a long time in the shoe hard. THe other thing I noticed is that the sandal continues tightening up. Every day I had to loosen the shoes up. I switched over to the chacos without the toe loops and I really like them. I can hike and walk around all day with them. They are great sandals but just be aware of the toe loop thing.

            I love these shoes. Now, it is true that the foot bed is a bit rough and my feet took some time to adjust to the rough texture at first. I wear these shoes everywhere all summer long. The straps are adjustable to your size and shape of foot. I've had my oldest pair for five years now, and I've still not worn them out. For me, these shoes are perfect.

            I don't even care that they're ugly as hell dirty-hippie sandals, these things are amazing. They're comfortable and I can walk for miles in them over all sorts of terrain. I have amazingly high arches as well as bunions forming (think ballet dancer without the grace) and these things support even my terrible feet.

            Adjusting the straps is tricky though and I could see how if you didn't have tough waitress feet like mine that the footbed would be uncomfortable.

              I bought these because the straps are adjustable for a custom fit. My feet are slightly narrow and many sandals are too wide. But the straps don't stay as adjusted and keep getting tighter in some spots. I readjust the straps every hour or two. It's getting worse, so I will be returning them.
