These are my 1st paid of five fingers. I'm slowing transitioning into wearing/running in these shoes. Walking around and going to the gym has been a seemless transition. I have gone running once in these for a short distance as recommended and I had no issues. My calves are sore after using these shoes, but that is to be expected as I'm using parts of my legs that I don't use w/ regular shoes. I normally wear a size 10.5 in running shoes and I got a 41. There is a enough room to wear thin toe socks, which is nice, but I can also wear these w/o socks. Overall, very pleased. The color is almost white, they seem durable enough, but I haven't used them enough yet to fully determine that.

My doctor recommended these shoes to assist with lumbar healing. I feel that wearing these shoes are creating more flexibility in my feet, ankles, calves, legs, hips & back. I love feeling the ground when I walk. Overall, feels like the shoes are strengthening my feet muscles & arch due simulating walking barefoot but with protection.

There are so many rewards for the vibram shoe. You don't need arch support because over time it forces the muscles in your feet to grow stronger and your muscles support yourself. It has the perfect amount of cushioning. I wear these all day long for work (many days for more than 14 hours). when I get home, my feet, knees, and back don't hurt. As an added plus, I still have a lot of energy when I get home. With other shoes I would be exhausted after half a day. With vibrams I still have energy for at least 2 hours after I get off a 16 hour shift. These shoes are incredible and I would not trade them for a million bucks. They are irreplaceable! A must have for anyone with ankle, knee, foot or back pain, anyone who is on their feet a lot for sports or anyone on their feet for work. They are the only shoe I have ever had worth paying for.

This is my second pair of Five Finger Vibrams. The Kimodo Sport gives more support that my previous pair. These fit my foot snugly and securely. I like wearing socks with them but enjoy wearing them without socks in the summer. What I like best is the feeling of being in touch with the earth where I'm walking. I rely more on my own stability than on that of the shoe so the muscles of my feet are in shape. Oh, the best of all is that my toes are spread! Love that feeling! I have bunions so this is very important. Pure comfort and they're smart and sporty looking.

This is the closest thing to running around barefoot "with shoes". I use these to take my Great Dane puppy for a walk and to obedience school. They offer great traction, lightweight and support for walking.
The ones I have do not have any vents so in the humidity/heat your foot does sweat. I throw mine in the washing machine more often than any other recreational shoe.
Overall, I am quite happy and will be getting another pair.
*Make sure to try each style on. Due to the way one shoe may adjust vs another, I have found I can wear two different sizes.

I LOVE these shoes! I wear them all the time, except in snow. I wear them to work, where I stand a lot of the 10 hours, and my legs and back feel great. I have three pair now, one is the leather version for light trail hiking.
If you love being barefoot, these are the best shoes ever. It does take patience to put them on the first few time, but it goes faster soon.

I love these shoes. I have owned my Komodosport's for over a year now, and have just purchased my second pair of them. I've noticed a distinct improvement of my running posture, comfort, and endurance since wearing them. I wear them to hike up to fishing locations and while doing military physical training. I wear them during all seasons, even in the snow and weather down to 15 degrees F without problems (I have conditioned my feet to tolerate that kind of cold). Just about any physical activity I have put them up against, they have passed with flying colors.
However, the one thing I can say that I do not like about these shoes is that the rubber sole on the big toe does not come up the toe far enough to protect from stubs on uneven rocks or concrete. I ripped a hole in the top, scraped all the skin on the end of my toes, and split my toenail while running concrete stairs, and again running on blacktop (partially my fault not lifting my feet up high enough). Also, I know these shoes aren't really made for it, but I thought it is worth mentioning that this particular pair is not the best for MMA conditioning. Again, the sole of the big toe caused my toenail to split during repeated kicks of the bag.
In short- VFF are like potato chips. You can't have just one pair.

I hate shoes, but I've accepted that I need to wear something on my feet to protect them. Enter Komodo Sport Vibrams. I'm an avid hiker and am just getting into running. I wear these on easy hikes--wide trails, mostly dirt, not very rocky. I have occasionally worn them on rockier hikes, and the traction is great even on smooth granite, but my feet do hurt at the end of a 6 mi round-trip hike.
As for running, I really started getting into it a year ago. When I started running in these, I looked up how so that I wouldn't hurt myself. It is true that the first time you transition, your calves will be in pain, even if you're an experienced runner, because you need to transition to running only on the balls of your feet.
In terms of fit, I have fairly wide feet. I'm wearing a women's, though I can tell it's a little narrow. I might transition to a man's next go round.
In terms of cons, there aren't many. I wear these for work where I stand for 5 hours serving tea and my feet don't hurt at the end of the day. The only thing I would complain about is that on super gravelly terrain, sometimes I get a rock in my shoe and it's hard to get out.
Overall, I will definitely be buying another pair when need be.

I walk on the beach most often and the first time I was in and out of the water, these shoes collected sand and rubbed me raw. After repeated rinsing, I couldn't get all the sand out. I tried the washing machine, I tried pounding, shaking, etc. For my feet, having sand in the shoe was intolerable. Until the beach, I was loving this shoe - so sad.
