Got this pack about a month ago and tested it out on a three-day adventure to Shenandoah. This pack is fantastic! I carried about 35-lbs and averaged ten miles a day in pretty strenuous territory. No back pain. The pack contours perfectly to my spine making it quite easy to adjust the load for comfort. The top easily turns into a day pack that has a fairly large capacity in itself. The hip belt moves independently with your hips to ensure that the weight is evenly distributed. I would highly recommend this pack.

I absolutely love this pack. It's a bit on the heavy side, but the comfort and adjustability makes up for it and I wouldn't trade it for another pack. I've used this pac in both the Sierras and in Norway, across very rugged terrain both in high and low elevation, through both snow and summer weather and with heavy and light loads. The pack is phenomenal. The packs has so many adjustment options that it's great for any load and amount of clothes that you might wear. As long as I've adjusted and loaded it correctly I haven't gotten any hot spots. If you are - ask someone for advice. This size of 60L is also very versatile, can be used for weekend trips as well as extended trips if you pack well.

I use this pack for foreign travel and thus on airplanes. It fits me perfectly! I love the support. My back never hurts, although taking it on and off a lot at airports makes my shoulders a little out-of-whack. I put EVERYTHING I need in it for a month of traveling abroad in hot climates. It is sturdy. It is fantastic! I love it!

I usually carry 35-40 lbs, holds all you need including the bear canister! After a full day this pack is still comfortable. I love this pack!

I bought this for weekend hikes and possible travel. I was worried my back would hurt on my 17 miles backpacking trip, but it didn't! I loved the padding! The only complaint I have is that it's a little heavy. If you're worried about weight go for something lighter. Also, I loved having so many pockets and compartments. It kept everything organized!

The moveable hip belt and shoulder straps work great when the terrain is constantly up and down. However after 10 miles, I had blisters on my hips. The sleeping bag compartment is too small. I'm 5'3" and have a small sleeping bag. The bottle holder on the right is a great ideal but is very difficult to put the water bottle back in the holster. I have short arms. Overall, the pack is good, lots of pockets, 3 clips for internal hydration packs with separate compartment. The material is tough, I got snagged on many downed trees and even fell down a hill the pack didn't even have a scratch.
