I read some of the prior comments, and I thought ok I'll try it, with the hopes some of the features would cover some of my needs. I set the screenhouse up & the rain flaps do not cover the window fully and the roof heigth was too low. Stay away from this one and save your time!

My initial impression of the Screenhouse was impressive! Previously, my family had been using a [...] bought, pop-up shade canopy. The transition to the Screenhouse significantly reduced the cargo capacity needs of our vehicle and significantly increased functionality. Now, when rain, wind, sun, bugs, cold become issues, we simply close up the Screenhouse and the whole family is protected. Additionally, we can now move all car camping gear into the Screenhouse when we depart for the days events with much less worry of damage or disappearance.Vertical walls on the two door sides and near vertical on the ends. Usefulness of all interior space was incredible!Overall stability of the Screenhouse was amazing. Between the exoskeleton and the abundant stake-out points, stability was never a concern.Setup was a breeze. The exoskeleton was easy and very self-explanatory.Happy wife happy life. Need I say more????

Screenroom is difficult to set up with two people. Design flaw causes water to pool on roof during rain. Weight of pooled water causes poles on side to pop out, causing more water to pool and eventual collapse of shelter. Older model much better design.

I had the blue, earlier version of this. The color is the only difference I can see. The good...the large fits nicely over a picnic table with room to move around. The tent is fairly compact and light when packed. It's nice to have the window screens inside so you can easily open and close them. Lifetime warranty. The bad...it is fairly difficult to set up. The top fabric lets too much sun through for good shade in strong sun. Just so-so on headroom. No floor option available. Zippers are hard to use with one hand. The deal-breaker: simply not engineered for strong wind and rain. Pole grommets ripped out in a steady wind. Bottom line: better than the typical cheap gazebo and includes mesh for insects, ok if your needs and car space are moderate and you don't mind the assembly. Stronger models will be heavier, bulkier, and cost more, but for my needs those are usually justified.

We purchased this Screen Room believing it to represent normal REI quality; which we love. Out of the package, the shock cords in the poles were broken so the poles were in pieces. While we were disappointed, that could be returned for warranty. So, we set it up anyway because we discovered the problem at the campsite. We had some light to medium rain and it kept pooling at the top of the enclosure and we had to push it off with our hands from underneath. Who would design a water proof screen room where the water does not run off? Finally, it came with the worst stakes. One little rock and they become bent. For a [$] item, we were very disappointed. We used it once, came home and cleaned it up, and repacked it. [...] Unless you only plan to use this screen room in fair weather, with minimal wind, don't try it. However, if that is your purpose for it, then it will work OK for you.
