Rest your head anywhere with the REI Siesta +35°F sleeping bag. The Siesta bag brings the creature comforts of home to the campsite or cabin.

  • Barrel shape provides generous interior volume, making it ideal for those who prefer a roomy fit
  • Hollow-core insulation delivers a balance of compressibility, warmth and durability; continues to insulate when wet and dries quickly
  • Ripstop nylon shell is abrasion- and tear-resistant for years of use
  • Shell fabric is treated with a Durable Water Repellent finish to repel moisture and stains
  • Lining of sleeping bag uses soft brushed polyester panels near the head and face for comfort; main lining is smooth polyester tafffeta for comfort and ease
  • Layered offset quilt construction eliminates cold spots
  • Bag can be used by itself or connected to another REI Siesta sleeping bag/sheet (sold separately) via Comfort Connection Zip to form a double bag
  • Full side and bottom zipper access; bag can be completely unzipped and opened up for use as a comforter

      We bought this bag for our ever-growing kiddos - they will be able to use this for quite a few years; it's a generously-sized bag!

      Took it out for a quick weekend camp trip.
      They did love that is was super brand new, BUT they definitely liked the comfort (nice inner lining and plushness) of the bag and how warm it kept them, too...great construction and easy zippers made it easy to get in and out and in and out....

      All in all we are super pleased (especially for the price).

      We are not avid backpackers, but the size of the stuff bag is on the large size for packing.

        We paired this up with the Siesta 35 so that on warm days we can put the 35 on top and cold day put the 20. Works great and super comfortable for two. We used these all summer car camping or just sleeping in the jeep before an early morning start. Great for what they are made for. Soft, roomy, durable are the selling points for me.
        The open top really does not cinch down and so lets out the warmth, but if you need that then get a mummy bag.

        When I first started looking for a bag, I was mainly looking for something that is just an all around comfortable sleep in terms of interior softness, roominess, and comfortable temperature window(not too hot, not too cold).

        The brushed polyester is incredibly soft to the point where it makes you excited to hop inside. One thing I was definitely expecting a nifty little cotton stuff sack to store the compressed sleeping bag but instead it's a pretty large stuff sack(28"x22"). I'm actually not too bummed out about this after thinking about it. I'm mainly going to be using this for camping/music festivals, crashing at friend's houses, mission trips and I could stick another blanket and pillow into the extra space of the stuff sack and just have my entire bed(sleeping bag, pillow, sleeping mat) all in one bag.

        If you're searching for a high quality, super soft, affordable sleeping bag for comfortable camping/traveling, this is your bag. If you're looking for something that rolls up real small for backpacking and storage convenience, this probably wouldn't be your first pick.

        I absolutely love it but I'm also very easy to please. Would definitely recommend this.
