Comments about Avid Elixir CR Hydraulic Disc Brake - 160mm:

Great performance until bubbles get in the system. The mechanics said most Avid Hydraulic brakes need at least three good bleeds until all of the bubbles are out of the lines, levers and calipers.
I've been riding an average of 100 miles per week on my bike for the last three months and have already paid $100 for pads and bleeds. The bike is ready for another round.
If you have these brakes than it is worth purchasing the bleed kit, dot fluid and learning how to do it yourself.
