I bought these shoes as an extra pair for my daily running rotation. I thought: "They're runners. For less than $40, I can afford for them not to be perfect." Wrong! Even though they're supposedly my size, these shoes actually HURT. I cannot lace them tight enough to hug my foot, the shank is waaay short, and the ball of my foot falls somewhere in the shoe's arch area. I knew the minute I put them on they'd be no good for a run. They're in the "yard shoes" pile, and I can't wear them more than 20 minutes or my feet start cramping.

An OK shoe at a great price. I have a wide foot and these are very comfortable. Padding is decent and I've logged quite a few runniing miles in them on pavement with virtually no signs of wear. A good basic shoe at a great price.
