I was happy by how well this jacket performs, especially considering the price tag. The hand warmer pockets are the BEST. I like all the adjustable zip cords. I'm petite so it's nice to be able to cinch everything down to keep out drafts, especially since the sleeves are a touch long for me. I'm surprised this is only water resistant. I've worn it through several full on rain storms with no issues. Perhaps I should count my blessings.
My only complaint is the zipper. About half the time it sticks so badly I can't zip it up. It seems like other reviewers haven't had this issue so I'm debating exchanging it. Nothing sucks more than shivering outside while struggling with a stubborn zipper.

I love the fit. Plenty of room in the shoulders to stretch and reach yet still looks nice with the trim fit. Longer sleeves are tapered to keep the top of my hands covered and warm even when reaching. When weather is very chilly, I just put an insulated vest under the jacket. Adjustable hood and nice fit allows me to see, yet remain covered. Very durable, lightweight jacket that covers a wide range of outside temps. Love, love, love this jacket!

Very impressed with this jacket; the reasonable price and the great quality. The sleeves were just a tad too long for me, however, the handy velcro tabs worked well for adjustments. I will look to buy more White Sierra items!

I'm pleasantly surprised by the low price tag, and wondering why nobody has written a review for this great jacket yet. I own another White Sierra jacket which has given me lots of uses and compliments. I was impressed by the quality so I'm going for another round. I'm again impressed by the quality and design of this jacket. This will be perfect for the ever-changing San Francisco weather. I purchased this jacket for hiking/walks in my neighborhood. Love the pockets. I stuff everything I need in them and I'm good to go. The hoods on my other jackets don't stay put against the wind but this one will. Perfect for walks on the beach.
Will look again to purchase more White Sierra products.
