Comments about Vibram FiveFingers TrekSport Multisport Shoes - Men's:
This was my second pair of this model. It has been my shoe to wear everywhere this winter while the snow is on the ground and my regular KSOs are a little too thin to protect against the cold. The only weakness in my mind is that when walking through puddles the water can get in around the top of the soles.

I LOVE these shoes!!!
I have bunions and am a runner and was afraid the shoes would not wokr for me. The oppostie is true! They make my feet and ankles stonger. I have improved my gate and form and i am landing much more softly now. I use the vibrams for maybe two runs per week and the rest I run in my more cushioned (still pretty minimal) shoes.I use it fo trails and road.
I recommend it to all runers. It will not only strengthen your legs but also bring you back to natural running as when we were kids:)

Comments about Vibram FiveFingers TrekSport Multisport Shoes - Men's:
I used the product as my everyday go to shoe. They have been to Moab twice, trail running on the foot hills, Arches Ntl Park, Mesa Verde, and much more. For all those who say they have no arch support, thats the point of a minimalist shoe. Your foot is already designed to function perfectly, therefore you need no "arch" support. In addition to this, if your shoe is wearing out too fast try not dragging your feet. They operate fantastically in the hot, dry, sandy conditions in southern Utah while still providing excellent grip in the muddy conditions for spring trail running. The only issue I personally have had was the lateral sliding when on extremely angled surfaces. This problem is completely solved with the shoes that have laces. Other than that they are great. After logging 700+ miles on them, I finally retired my old ones. I will be purchasing them until the day I die or until they stop production.

I love these shoes! I have had many problems with athletic shoes and boots causing achilles problems or my toes rubbing and causing blisters. These are the first shoes that are versatile enough for the things I do, and they don't cause any issues for me.

I love the feeling of running barefoot! Next to running in the sand, working out in five finger shoes is the best way to get the muscles in your legs popping.

The Vibrum Five Fingers are great shoes, I use them in the gym all the time and love walking and hiking in them in the spring, summer and fall. I would wear them year round but they are not that warm in the winter.
Service and delivery comments:
They came fast and were here before I expected them.

The sizing of these shoes was totally off. I ordered three different sizes and I'm still not sure they are a good fit. Don't believe the chart, order your regular size. They are fun to wear. hope they hold up.

Comments about Vibram FiveFingers TrekSport Multisport Shoes - Men's:
With these, I have to go with men's sizes because my feet are too wide for the women's. I love the barefoot feel, but these offered a little more of a constricted feel, which is alright since I use them for hiking. I had my foot sized in-store, but the size they told me was just a tad too small, so I suggest getting 1-1.5 sizes bigger. That keeps your toes from rubbing the tip of the show with each step (which can be really irritating). Although they aren't waterproof, I wore them on hikes which required crossing rivers and such and they held up great! Almost like they were made for the water! The mesh top part is good for letting your foot breathe, but also lets in dirt and rocks can get in quite easily.

Comments about Vibram FiveFingers TrekSport Multisport Shoes - Men's:
I had always disliked running until my brother gave me a pair of the KSOs and I tried them out. They took away the joint pain in one knee and the other hip, plus made my feet feel much stronger and healthier. Five months ago we moved to San Rafael, CA and found that the KSOs didn't provide enough protection for the rocks and debris encountered while trying to run anywhere around town. I finally decided to upgrade to the VFF TrekSports from my VFF KSOs. The thicker sole and lugs have made all the difference in running over all the gravel and sticks that would have left me hobbling home in the KSOs. The increased grip and protection on the TrekSports doesn't come at the expense of a loss of the barefoot feel or heavier shoe. I highly recommend them for anyone who may not have a clear running surface to use or who may be into trail running. Now stepping down on a chunk of gravel with the ball of my foot makes me smile instead of grimace.
The fit is pretty standard, fitting much like my KSOs. The velcro strap provides a good grip on my feet. It still takes the usual attention to get my toes to fit into the right "fingers" when putting them on.
For anyone who has never worn a pair - don't expect cushioning like a traditional running shoe. Your body does the cushioning with the way the Five Fingers change the mechanics of your stride. And start off slowly - your calves will need time to adjust.
