Comments about OtterBox 2000 Series Case:

I bought this but took it back when I found a similar competitors product that was better. The snaps were designed better (easier to open/close without compromise) and the inside had a thin foam pad lining. I did not see these available at REI. REI asks not to reference other retailers in reviews, but hopefully a reference to the manufacturer is ok (s3 cases).

Comments about OtterBox 2000 Series Case:

I have a motorola droid that I use when I run. I've been trying to find a container that allowed me to use the touch screen, but that seems to be asking too much. I was caught in multiple down pours this last weekend while fishing. No problem for the otterbox. I have some webbing, that will loop through the narrow edges to make a belt. this will make it easy to access the phone.

I stuffed bubble wrap into the box to keep the phone from bouncing around. It would be nice if Ottterbox made an inflatable/deflatable bladder inside that you could inflate to keep the items inside from bouncing around. Otherwise this is the best container I've seen.
