Comments about Seals Sneak Spray Skirt - 5.5:

I bought this for my Wilderness Systems Pamlico 100 to help keep the water out of my kayak while going through rapids. Before I got this I would have to pull over after pretty much every section of rapids to empty the water out. Granted, the Pamlico is not a whitewater kayak, nor are the rapids that I typically ride very bad (Class I-II, sometimes III), but this skirt works great. I have never had to pull over to empty my boat since I got this, and it makes paddling a lot more fun because it gives me a little more confidence hitting the rapids - so now I can pick the line that looks the most fun as opposed to the line that would keep my boat the driest. I've buried the nose of my kayak going through rapids and it kept all the water out - I've even got pinned up on a rock and had water rushing over the side of my boat and this skirt kept me from sinking. There is usually a little water in my boat at the end of the day - but its never been so much that I felt unstable on the water.
