Left chest pocket and 2 handwarmer pockets have zippers for secure storage; internal cord pass-through lets you easily route headphones
Polartec® Power Dry® polyester fleece cuff gaiters feature thumb loops for sealing out the elements

I have had my Patagonia Jacket for a couple of months now. I bought it because it was on a great discount and I believe in the way Patagonia approaches business and the environment as a company.

I have since traveled with this jacket and used it for 6-10 runs. I have been pleased with how breathable it is. I have warn it over 1 layer and over 3-4 layers and it worked great for both. It is light weight and served me well for the couple of trips I used it on.

One of the runs I went on it, was about 35-40 degrees, overcast and a little bit of rain. The jacket kept me warm and very dry. I have not warn it in heavy rain but it is great for light drizzle/sprinkling weather.

I also think the thumbholes are great and since I prefer not to wear gloves when running they real made a difference in keeping my hands warm.

Overall,

This purcahse has exceeeded my expectations and would recommend it as a running or casual jacket to anyone.

I bought this jacket initially to wear to work during the fall and spring. It has become a mid layer for me for snowboarding as well as a 3 season jacket for work. I have also used it for it's intended purpose of running in cold weather and it does an amazing job of keeping me warm without adding a lot of bulk.

Fits great and is very comfortable for nordic skiing with the stretchy fabric under the arms and sides. Great at blocking the wind. Turns out is stylish enough to wear around town and has added pocket "areas" inside for a book or maps.

I searched long and hard for a jacket that fit me, a tall, slim guy, well. This is basically one of the *first* jackets that fits well around the torso and is long enough in the arms and torso. Finally!

Only cons are:
1) The seam across the midriff I find sits a little weirdly at times.
2) I wish the arms were just a *little* longer. As is, I can't really use the thumb holes when active.

Well worth the price though!

Just went XC skiing in -2 degree weather with this jacket and a base layer underneath. This jacket kept me perfectly warm and comfortable. Also, this jacket is great if you carry a pack as it's very form fitting and not bulky (note: I'm 6'0" 180lbs).
