The Patagonia Pipe Down women's jacket is a warm, motion-friendly down jacket in a tough shell that meets your cold-weather freeriding needs.

Ripstop polyester shell with Deluge® Durable Water Repellent is soft, water resistant and highly breathable for backcountry adventures
All exterior zippers are treated with a Deluge Durable Water Repellent finish for water resistance and quick drying
Premium European 600-fill-power goose down insulation is extremely warm, lightweight and compressible
Smooth polyester lining glides easily over underlayers and dries quickly when wet
Fixed, helmet-compatible, adjustable hood allows natural neck mobility and peripheral vision; fleece-lined collar eliminates zipper rub and enhances comfort
Pit zippers provide ventilation to help keep your body temperature regulated
Patagonia Pipe Down women's jacket features twin handwarmer pockets and a zippered chest audio pocket; interior pocket includes a zip stash pocket
Stretch powder skirt has gripping elastic to seal out snow, and webbing loops to connect to compatible ski and snowboard pants, sold separately

Comments about Patagonia Pipe Down Jacket - Women's:

I love my Patagonia Pipe Down Jacket! I purchased this initially as a ski jacket, hoping I would like it well enough to wear daily, and I definitely do! It is warm, light weight, and stylish. It keeps me VERY warm on the slopes, but has good ventilation in the armpit area if I get too warm. It is lined around in the inside of the neck/face area, which is perfect to shield my face on windy ski days. I am 5'10", 155 pounds, 34D, and I ordered a medium - it fits perfectly. I wouldn't be able to wear a bulky sweater underneath it, but light weight clothing and baselayers work just fine. The only con is that the powder skirt (which is AWESOME when you're skiing) sometimes hangs out the bottom when it isn't fastened. Other than that, love this jacket!

Comments about Patagonia Pipe Down Jacket - Women's:

Pros: I really like this jacket. I got the Medium in the plum color. I'm 5'6", 130 lbs, and a bit long waisted and with average shoulder width.
It is the perfect length and width. I can wear a sweater or pretty thick hoodie under it, comfortably, without it feeling too tight.
It's warm enough to ski in, with a sweater under it.
The hood fits well and is not too bulky when it's not being worn.

Cons: Really, my only complaint is that sometimes the zipper will start to unzip from the bottom when I'm wearing it. The zipper is not the type that is supposed to zip both ways, and I'm afraid it might break.
