      I bought this belt a couple of years ago when it was either on sale or clearance. With a plastic buckle, I did not have high expectations, but it was inexpensive and I needed a belt.

      This has become the favorite belt I have owned and I wear it nearly every day. The buckle has held up and has yet to wear out or break. It does not dig into my skin and hold my pants exactly where they should be. And if I should happen to have a larger meal, easy to loosen without having to find the right hole.

      The belt looks good (does not look like a stretch belt), feels good, and hold my pants up. Recommend to anyone!

        I'm tubby and I frequently ride a bike to get around town. That means I've spent a lot of my adult life with a belt pinching my middle. Because my office dress code is not sweat pants inclusive, I had accepted that I would always have a belt pinching my middle. No More. Not with the REI stretchy belt. Now all my pants are like elastic waisted pants. And, really, who doesn't want that?

          I bought this belt hoping to use it with different size waistbands. I like the snap buckle and the stretch, but wish it were available in a thin version with a thin snap buckle and shorter length. That way it would be more versatile for use under a fanny pack, etc. As it is, it's OK for a larger person. We just need a smaller version for people with smaller frames.

            I purchased this belt based on the review from the previous poster. I had a hard time finding it in the store because it's one size fits all. It was labeled as a different size and I almost missed it.
            This is the most comfortable belt I have ever owned. I will wear it until the end of it's life, which will probably be quite a while.
