The Racktime ADDit rear bike rack is the flagship of the Racktime racks. Its maximum load capacity is 66 lbs. and it's compatible with all SNAPit bike packs and trucks.

  • ADDit has a second rail below the loading platform that lowers the center of gravity and offers greater heel clearance than standard racks

          This rack, simply put, is a beast. It has handled everything I've thrown at it. Plus, the integrated system for all of the Racktime bags and panniers is amazing. As the previous reviewer stated, it holds 55lbs, and although I can't say for sure, I'm fairly certain I've exceeded that on numerous occasions. Installation was a snap (5 minutes max), and the thing just feels like pure quality. It's a bit on the heavy side, but I'll gladly haul a few extra ounces considering the peace of mind I get knowing my rack isn't going to buckle under pressure.

          Buy this rack, you will not regret it.

            I bought this and the Doubleit bags, and together they are THE BEST system out there! ALL tubular aluminum, well welded between the two extrusions. It comes with any and all hardware you'll need.
            (They do however assume you have lugs brazed on the seat-stays, if you don't you'll need an attachment like the one that comes with Wald baskets. you clamp it on the seat-stays and it provides a mounting surface)
            All their bags are interchangeable within the system. The whole deal is totally modular. I was so impressed I went out and bought the Tourit rack and Travelit Panniers for my ride of the Skyline Drive & Blue Ridge Parkway this summer. The Doubleit bags double as a handbag and pop right off and hold on like a Wolverine! They make a gizmo called the Secureit which is a MUST for urban use. Without it anyone can pop your bags off and walk away. They make everything from crate holders to purse attachments that attach slick as a whistle. I've given away all my old baskets and racks and converted all my bikes over to the Racktime system. Oh did I mention it holds 55Lbs.
            If the bags hold up my daughter will be using these in 20 yrs. A really Great product!
