          Received this great bottle from my husband a few months ago and LOVE IT! I was skeptical of the lid at first (a little too easy to put on, it seemed....) but now love the ease of use and how it holds up! The lid also doubles as a handle and is easy to carry. I use this at work and helps keep me hydrated while being on my feet all day.

            I have a bit of a problem with water bottles, I've bought a lot.
            I've always liked the SIGG bottles. Skinny and 1 quart. Yet I hate the aluminum and the paint. Both wear easily, still work but don't look it.

            I stumbled onto Liberty bottles at REI. Skinny, 1 quart, enameled steel... but the lid seemed odd. Yet the made in USA was a "sure I'll give it a try". Turns out the tabs work well! Easy to open and easy to close. I've been using daily for a couple of months and they hold up well.

            I really wanted to love this bottle but matching the four tabs on the bottle with the lid channel isn't intuitive. A threaded lid would have made this perfect. I think Liberty tried to solve a problem that no one had.

            The plastic grooves on the lid that match up with the tabs on the bottle are already showing signs of abuse after a week.
