Comments about Smith Pivlock V90 Interchangeable Sunglasses:
I saved up to treat myself to these glasses. Not cheap but they are so worth it when road cycling. Light, good ventilation and no more looking over the top of my glasses. I like the different lenses for changing light conditions.

Comments about Smith Pivlock V90 Interchangeable Sunglasses:
These sunglasses are incredibly lightweight, so I was very nervous when I took them on my most recent hiking trip. I kept checking my head to make sure they were still there! The pivlocks are so comfortable, I am definitely a fan now. I do wish they were polarized, and that the nosepiece didn't reflect onto the lens so much, (I ordered the gray and switched the white nosepiece out for the black, which helped a ton) but other than that, these are a great investment. As far as durability, they exceeded my expectations. We were packing up our tent one morning, and I left them in one of the mesh pockets inside. We managed to fold the tent up, shove it in a compression sack, and tighten the straps before I noticed they were missing. I expected to find the pair in two pieces, but they were completely intact!!! I would defintely buy them again.

Comments about Smith Pivlock V90 Interchangeable Sunglasses:
Had to comment as there so many weird reviews. First off, they don't reflect with the nose piece. Clear lenses, period. Secondly they don't scratch easily. Am definitely not a caretaker when it comes to glasses and mine are good after a year. Never broke one or signif. scratched a lens. But one must be careful with plastic - these, nor any glasses, are not made of lead - of course plastic scratches if you work at it.
I wear them mostly for running - nose and ear is super comfy - they go through it all. And they look good. They've been my fav. running glasses I've ever had. They don't slip with sweat either.
Downside - after a year the rubber on the ear covers completely broke down - sort of like a disintegration. I emailed Smith and they promptly sent me a brand new nose piece and a brand new ear covers. So kudos to them for that. The replacements were free.
Other than that, I can think of quite a few places where they are half the price. Sorry REI, but it seems you constantly work to have your prices the highest anywhere.

Comments about Smith Pivlock V90 Interchangeable Sunglasses:
For some reason the pink lense seems to fit a smaller face, compared to the other lenses. Super solid fit with any light or heavy activity. Have to be very careful with them or they will scratch and smudge easy.

Comments about Smith Pivlock V90 Interchangeable Sunglasses:
I got the Smith V90 MAX (see separate review) and my wife got these. We wear them cycling and running and these are great for both. The V90 MAX do a better job of keeping the wind out, but these still do quite a good job and fit a smaller face better. These are light, comfortable, and the arms & nose have enough tackiness that they fit quite securely. I imagine these would be great for skiing too, but perhaps they would fog. The only time these ever fog up is when we're cooling down after a run and there is no breeze at all. We've used all three lenses, though the red lens and especially the polarized grey lens get the most use. My only worry is that one of the arms might break when swapping out the lenses, but that is just a worry. [...]

Comments about Smith Pivlock V90 Interchangeable Sunglasses:
I was really excited about these glasses but noticed very early on that they were going to be a problem. The light colored frames (white nose and ear pieces) reflect on the lenses which gets really annoying and distracting. Also, the lenses scratch really easily. I thought that maybe I just got a bum pair the first time around, but my second pair was scratched within days. Im not the most careful person but I still only clean my glasses with microfiber etc and they still got really messed up within two months. Another downside is that they aren't polarized. For almost $150 you would think they could at least polarize one set of the lenses. Overall I would not recommend these unless you are really, really, careful with your glasses.

Comments about Smith Pivlock V90 Interchangeable Sunglasses:
Found the glasses comfortable, light, and functional but after a month the part which connects the right leg to the lens became loose. I took them back to REI and they extended a no hassle refund.
Since they meet my needs, I may try another pair, but only because I know REI will stand behind their product.
Hoping I don't have the same issue with the second pair...
Thanks.

Comments about Smith Pivlock V90 Interchangeable Sunglasses:
Wide and tall lens area perfect for cycling. Best cycling glasses yet - much better than Oakley's and Tifosi's.
One small complaint, doesn't totally keep dust from eyes, thus eyes tear up a bit. This is a small drawback. Best pair of cycling glasses I've worn in over 10 years.
