Comments about The North Face Denali Fleece Jacket - Men's:
This is an OK jacket if you are wearing it to drop off the kids at football (soccer) practice, because every other parent and kid will be wearing one. However, if you want a much better jacket for the same price, hands down go and buy the Mountain Hardwear Windstopper Tech Fleece jacket. It fits better, is much warmer (thanks to being lined) and the pockets are of a better design. The thing I really hate about the Denali jacket are the sleeves- the wind blows right through them, as they are unlined fleece. I guarantee you will never go back to North Face once you try Mountain Hardwear.

Comments about The North Face Denali Fleece Jacket - Men's:
This fleece from North Face is very comfortable and warm. I've owned mine for about 4 years and it wears very well. I agree with the other reviewer on its strengths and weaknesses. I really wish it blocked wind better, as I've worn it snowshoeing and I've been chilled. I would advise always having a windproof outer layer with you when doing activities in the winter w this jacket. I do agree that it repels light rain and snow relatively well, but it isn't meant for this function. I like wearing it around town quite a bit. I think the jacket is a bit bulky for backpacking in all seasons except winter. I've taken it on late summer backpacks in the Colorado Rockies and that was a mistake. It simply weighs too much to justify do that in the future.
Overall, it is a great jacket. I look forward to owning it for a very long time to come.

Comments about The North Face Denali Fleece Jacket - Men's:
This is a very warm and comfortable jacket suitable as a hybrid shell or a thermal layer. The Nylon panels on the shoulders which come half-way down the chest and back shed moderate rain well, while the DWR finish on the fleece pile effectively mitigates light precipitation and mist/spray. It is cut roomy enough to fit over base layers or trail shirts, but is not too bulky to layer under a shell. The elastic sleeve cuffs keep their grip through much use and many washings, and the zippers move smoothly, even when caked with dirt. The hand pockets are well placed. The two chest pockets running in different directions allow for easy access in any position or while wearing a pack. The two main shortfalls of this piece are the lack of a wind blocking laminate and the absence of internal pockets. It would be especially nice to see an updated version with an inside pocket for an MP3 player or phone with routing for earphones or hands free sets.

Comments about The North Face Denali Fleece Jacket - Men's:
The slightest breeze renders this jacket ineffective. The zipper puckered and in the first year 4 teeth in a row broke in the chest area. There are many better products out there for the money. This is a major disappointment.

Comments about The North Face Denali Fleece Jacket - Men's:
Bought this to replace one that got lost. Use it for camping and any time it's cool. Often wear it under a rain jacket. The only complaint is that it tends attract dog hair. Some of my polar tech products don't attract dog hair.

Comments about The North Face Denali Fleece Jacket - Men's:
I've bought this jacket 2 or 3 times... Every 5 years I have to buy a new one... It's the first jacket I grab when I take off.... Messed up & left it home on this trip & have regretted it every day... I've been 5 weeks in Vancouver...

Comments about The North Face Denali Fleece Jacket - Men's:
This jacket should not be worn in temperatures below 40 Degrees. Also, it is not windproof. Moderate wind goes through the fleece sleeves, making it necessary to wear a long sleeve shirt under the jacket.
Good jacket, but not for cold weather.

Comments about The North Face Denali Fleece Jacket - Men's:
The denali is a great jacket if there is no wind. If you plan on wearing it in your car or in a building it keeps you warm. If you wear it outside it doesn't do much for you unless you have a windproof shell to put over it. It works well for day to day use but I would never bring it on extended backpacking trips. It is much too bulky to carry on my back for any extended trips.

Comments about The North Face Denali Fleece Jacket - Men's:
I'm usually a hoodie type of guy but 3 days ago my mother and I went out shopping. She wanted to buy some sandals at REI, she then saw the Denali Jacket rack. She glanced at me and started to pick one out for me! She picked the black one, I tried the small but it was just right but she commented that what if I want to wear a hoodie underneath it. So she picked out the Medium. Surprisingly, it fits well too! I have no idea but I am type of person who walks around town, hiking's, exercising, jogging. That's what I'll use it for.
I do have a question is that, will it response well to rain? :) Thanks everyone.
