The Thule Pivoting Tandem rooftop bike carrier hauls your tandem or recumbent bike.

  • Pivoting fork mount design allows 1 person to load/unload bike; fork mount features a removable pin that allows mount pivot out for fork attachment
  • Remove front wheel, lift front of bike and clamp fork into the fork mount; lift rear wheel into tray and attach
  • 75 in. long wheel tray is constructed of corrosion-resistant aluminum with stainless-steel hardware
  • Rear tray can be removed for trunk/hatch clearance or single bike transport
  • Thule Pivoting Tandem fits Thule rack systems or round crossbars
  • All mounting hardware included

    Comments about Thule Pivoting Tandem Bike Rack:

    The rack is well designed and sturdy. I have it mounted directly to Thule Aero bars bolted onto our pickup bed cover, so kind of a weird mount.
    It is not supposed to work on this type of rack, but a little ingenuity got it on.
    We don't use the pivot feature, but it seems to work well in theory.
    The removable rear wheel tray makes it reasonable to leave on all the time if desired, and it works fine as a single bike rack in this mode.
    My only complaint is the cost.
