The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Genuine Innovations Air Chuck Elite Tire Inflator:
This device is easy to operate, great-looking, light and, compared to the inflators that completely enclose the cartridge, extremely small. Place the cover on the cartridge, firmly screw on the inflator, place the inflator on the valve and press! No switches to operate, no twist-to-inflate. Just press to inflate.
This is the best CO2 inflator I have ever used (OK, it's also the only CO2 inflator I have ever used). But it's hard to see how one could do any better.
Some operating tips:
--For the rear tire on a road bike, keep it on the valve for a good 4-5 seconds to fully inflate the tire (130 psi). Vent the tube a bit to reduce it to 120 if so desired. For a front tire, keep it on the valve for a shorter period of time depending upon the desired inflation pressure.
--When inflating, positively keep your hand off of the "black dot" at the back of the chuck head. If you apply any force to this dot then you'll be fighting yourself, simultaneously applying force to both the chuck head and the cartridge port (only the latter should be pushed). In other words, place your hand on the cartridge and the conical portion of the chuck head only.
