NEMO Losi 3P Tent is rated 4.7273 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best tent I own I've been backpacking for 40 years. I own two expensive winter tents, and three light-weight, quality summer tents - all purchased at REI. As far as three season tents go, this one is my favorite...why? 1. The three man actually holds three people! 2. The entire system snaps together so that the footprint stays attached to the tent, as does the fly - unlike the typical grommet configurations my other tents use. 3. The door is easy to zip and unzip without snagging - easy in and out. 4. The vestibule storage is ample for our packs and boots at night. 5. Set up is simple - the single pole configuration doesn't leave me wondering which pole goes where when setting up in the dark. 6. For it's size, the weight is great - if you divide this thing up among three, you'll be in great shape - although the carrying case it comes with is pretty cool! Bottom line, I love sleeping in this tent - lots of head room, lots of space, but not too heavy, and it looks like it will last.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from NEMO 3P is a must have tent I'd been searching for a great tent for about 6 months. One I'd have for years. Wa-La - flash boom bang NEMO TEAM LOSI 3P Tent was the one. I've had the tent now for about 9 months. Everything works really well. I feel the cost was well worth the investment. My back up tent is a REI quarter dome T2 plus which is nice too. I've owned the REI Quarter dome T3, North Face Tadpole, REI Quarter Dome UL, North Face Phoenix 2 and Mountain Hardwear Waypoint 2. The weight is slightly heaver than I would like but who can complain when it weights just as much as one of my two man tents. I travel with my G-Friend (now wife) and dog. I purchased the PAW print (internal foot print) and love love the way it works. It also makes cleaning the tent a breeze. The tent was such great quality I purchased Nemo's air pads (3) as well. I've really studied the different tents and I believe NEMO would be my first choice. My second choice in quality and workmanship would be REI quarter dome series.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can't imagine a better tent Let me start off by saying that the only reservation you should have about purchasing this tent immediately is the price. If you're not used to lightweight tents, the material you see here may seem cheap or flimsy. But rest assured, this thing is very durable and well built. All the details are well thought out and designed. It's waterproof, insect proof thanks to the tight meshing, relatively lightweight (althought I did purchase and highly recommend the footprint and pawprint for added comfort), and to top it off it looks amazing. Another one of my favorite features is the rollup bag that makes packing it a breeze. I don't know why I don't see this feature more often, it's brilliant. I've had this tent for more than 3 years now and it has held up exceptionally well. I can tell that I will get countless years of great use out of it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect 3-man tent for a big guy + 2 I'm 6'5", and broad-shouldered, and this tent has plenty of room for me, my 9-year-old daughter, and my wife (5'5", 120 lbs.) We took this up to the Chisos Basin in Big Bend National Park, and the ventilation really impressed me. We kept the fly on even though it was dry to help with the 15mph wind (the tent didn't budge, and the fly didn't flap at all--bonus!). There was enough air movement to feel comfortable with bedtime temperatures in the 70s and no condensation with morning temperatures in the low 40's. The roll-up stuff sack is easy to use and packs easily (stakes and all) into my 60L Osprey pack with plenty of room for the rest of my gear. I love this tent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Tent, A Real Three-Person Tent I bought this tent to hike with my wife, daughter, and my dog. The paw-print keeps your sleeping pads protected and creates a soft surface on the bottom of the tent. I purchased the foot-print, but have barely used it to save weight while backpacking. If my dog comes with me, I bring the paw-print, otherwise I leave it at home to save weight. Love the bright green color and having two entrances/exits. Lots of pockets to store stuff. Everything clips in perfect, love the lightweight stakes. I love how everything clips in and locks (rain fly, poles into the tent, paw-print, foot-print). Very well designed. I do not use the case for the tent backpacking, but it does keep everything well contained when you are storing the tent. Great product, used my dividend to get this tent, definitely worth the money if you are looking for a three-person tent that actually can hold three people.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Quirky The best part of this tent is the interior. It's huge, and you can sit up straight almost all the way to the walls. The included gear loft is also great for organizing things, and I really like the light diffuser pocket for spreading light around the whole tent. It does have a few quirks, most of which I see as cons to varying degrees: --the "door" in the rain fly is fairly small, and hard to fit through without brushing up against it and bringing more water in...unlike in the photos, which are actually of the 2P version, it is divided into three sections instead of two so you have a small slice in the middle to navigate through. --the doors of the tent itself are angled inward slightly, and the top of the fly's door does not overhang the tent at all, which means that when the fly is open most or all of the way up, water goes directly into the tent. As mentioned above, the door is small and usually needs to be opened this far to get in, so going in and out in the rain becomes a production. --I'm not a big fan of the "Jake's feet" used as attachment points, both because they can be hard to un-clip from the fly/footprint when they're wet or dirty and because there's a lot of plastic involved (both on the feet and on the fly/footprint clips to them) that I would worry about breaking. There isn't really a good way to repair them in the field, so you could be SOL. --the attachment points for the ends of the poles that go above the door are also thin plastic that I worry about breaking; these poles are not essential to the tent staying up but it would be annoying. --this tent takes a little while to set up--not forever, but longer than it has to, I feel. Sometimes the poles jump out of the "Jakes feet" while you're setting it up, so you have to go put them back in. --the roll-up organizer for the tent is a nice touch, but I only use it for storing the tent and for car camping; you probably don't want the extra bulk/weight it adds if you're backpacking. HUGE BONUS POINTS have to go to Nemo's customer service people, though. I bought my tent as a demo model that had a broken pole section, and Nemo sent me a new one for free, no questions asked. They seem like a really great company in general. Final verdict: This is a pretty good tent, especially in dry weather, that could be even better. If your main priority is space, this is definitely a tent to look at; if not, there might be some out there that are a little less quirky.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Tent! I bought the Nemo Losi 3P this past February and have used it several times since. The most recent was two weekends ago. We received about two inches of rain during the night and the winds were around 40mph. I stayed absolutely dry all night long. First of all this tent is a cinch to set up with one person. Five minutes max. Two people obviously quicker. The Jake's feet can be a little trying when taking down as sometimes you have to fanagle the clips to unclip, but that's minor. It has held up fantastically in all weather. My son and I will be sharing this tent next summer when we go to Philmont, so we'll each be carrying about 3 lbs each and that's not too bad given the interior size of it. This tent will be a lot of room for the two of us. Yes, it can hold three people quite nicely too. The vestibules are nice sized for storing backpacking gear. I did have to purchase extra tent stakes as it did not come with enough for all the corners, vestibules and guy lines. I'm not sure why it did not come with enough. Anyway, the gear bag in the front of the tent is great for storing your flash lights, cell phone, etc. Since there aren't any external vents on the rain fly, condensation can accumulate, but it's not too bad. This tent is well worth the money and I love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High performance 3-season tent I bought this having read reviews here, and videos online. It's one of the best tents I've ever used honestly. It's easy for one person to set up, even in the dark, comes complete in it's own package which is great, and most of all, has a design that really maximizes the interior space. There's not much else to say, it's worth every penny! My only gripe, and really, making this a 4.5 out of 5, is that the fly has a rather small opening getting in and out. Would much prefer a wider opening ESPECIALLY when it's raining out. I do however, like the dual side vestibule and door opening. Overall, with the footprint, and paw print, it's a pretty solid tent that won't let you down.
