    I purchased this to replace a similar model tha ti misplaced. It's simple, easy to use (for someone who is not big on gadgets), and easy to read. I have already scratched the face, but that is a special talent I have and not an indicator of it's quality. Over time I notice that the strap will take on a mildewy odor, but the comfort of the velcro band makes it worth while.
