Hit the streets with speed and style. The Raleigh Rush Hour bike features a rugged, simple and utilitarian single-speed drivetrain, a Reynolds 520 steel frame and undeniable head-turning looks.

  • Reynolds 520 steel frame provides the legendary smooth ride of steel with track-inspired geometry and horizontal rear dropouts that feature built-in tensioners
  • Attention to detail is immediately apparent in the matching rims, grips, frame accents and saddle rails as well as the matching seatpost clamp and headset—pure style
  • Single-speed drivetrain consists of Sugino Messenger cranks with a 46-tooth chainring driving a 16-tooth freewheel for unbeatable utilitarian simplicity
  • Flip-flop rear hub can be turned over and run with the 16-tooth fixed cog
  • Front and rear Tektro dual-pivot caliper brakes with Inline levers make quick, responsive work of slowing you down when needed
  • Deep dish Weinmann DP18 rims are outfitted with high-flange, sealed hubs and puncture-resistant Vittoria Zaffiro tires
  • Rounding out the goodies, the platform pedals accept street shoes and feature steel cages with leather straps

After its initial break-in period you might notice your bicycle performing less responsively than the day you brought it home. Not to worry, this is typical of all new bicycles and simply reflects that cables have stretched or their housings have seated themselves into final position. To keep running at peak performance, all REI bicycles come with a FREE warranty tune-up, which should be accomplished between the first 100-200 miles of riding or after the first two months if you're accumulating miles less quickly.
