ISCG tabs let you run a chain guide or HammerSchmidt™ cranks; asymmetric aluminum chainstays maximize lateral rigidity for increased performance
BB30 bottom bracket shell design, with pressed-in bearing cups, an oversized spindle and a large shell, increases stiffness for improved power transfer
FOX 32 Float RL suspension fork delivers an impressive 140mm of travel to soak up hard hits and rough trails; features lockout and rebound adjustment
Fox Float RP2 rear shock nearly levitates the rear end over rugged terrain and off big drops
Shimano XT rear derailleur and SLX shifters provide quick, dependable shifting through 27 speeds
Hayes Stroker Ryde hydraulic disc brakes provide ample stopping power; sizes Small and Medium use a 180mm front rotor and 160mm rear rotor; Large and X-Large use180mm rotors

To keep running at peak performance, all REI bicycles come with a FREE warranty tune-up, which should be accomplished between the first 100-200 miles of riding or after the first two months if you're accumulating miles less quickly.
