  • Padded harness, precurved hipbelt and molded foam back panel wick moisture well and help ensure all-day comfort; narrow hipbelt allows free range of motion
  • Wraptor™ Stabilizer pulls the back panel in toward your lumbar region, transferring weight evenly over a wide area and reducing pack bounce
  • Dual-density foam lumbar pad efficiently transfers load weight to your hips
  • Fusion™ LTS suspension features a removable HDPE framesheet and vertical aluminum stay, supported by a horizontal cross stay
  • Horizontal cross stay helps the pack maintain its shape and stay flat against your back, even when carrying a heavy load
  • Spacious main compartment features a zipper that extends across the top and down the side for easy loading and access
  • Hydration sleeve and dual tube ports accommodate a reservoir (sold separately) to make the Tarne 36 a fully functional hydration pack
  • Tall front pocket with vertical zipper makes it easy to quickly stash and retrieve a rain jacket or other gear
  • Zippered top pocket with key clip helps you organize small items

    I have been backcountry telemark skiing for 20 years. I have gone through many packs, always frustrated that the packs don't move with me or carry a heavy load comfortably.
    Finally I have found the perfect pack-line, gregory's Fusion LTS series
    This pack carries a 20-30lb load and makes it feel like its not there. The wraptor stabilizer holds the pack exactly where it should be on my back.
    When I ski down, my motion is highly involved, up and down, full body. So most packs sort of bounce around and feel like I'm pulling them down with me or they are resisting my movement or seem to carry a momentum that wants to keep me from a natural turn.
    The Tarne fuses to my body and becomes part of me. I don't even notice it is there.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

      Like all Gregory packs, this one fits great and carries loads very well. Highly adjustable and room for hydration. I can use it for multi-day backpacking trips with loads up to 30# (which is plenty for me). It's also a great climbing/scrambling pack that, due to great adjustments, fits great for Class 3/4 climbs/scrambles.
