Thanks to 21 speeds and 75mm of front suspension, the GT Stomper 24 in. kids' bike is easy and fun to ride about the neighborhood, through the park and along favorite trails.

  • Durable frame is constructed with 6061 aluminum for lightweight handling and a slanted top tube for short stand-over height
  • SR Suntour M 2000 suspension fork offers 75mm of travel to soak up the bumps while also helping maintain control
  • Drivetrain provides 21 speeds to help conquer hills and cruise on flat trails
  • SRAM MRX twist shifters allow the hands to remain properly positioned while changing gears
  • Linear-pull brakes supply reliable stopping power; brake levers are sized for small hands
  • Kenda ATB dual-purpose dirt/street tires provide a stable ride at slow speeds and are just as suited for riding trails as they are an asphalt path to school

After its initial break-in period you might notice your bicycle performing less responsively than the day you brought it home. Not to worry, this is typical of all new bicycles and simply reflects that cables have stretched or their housings have seated themselves into final position. To keep running at peak performance, all REI bicycles come with a FREE warranty tune-up, which should be accomplished between the first 100-200 miles of riding or after the first two months if you're accumulating miles less quickly. Contact your nearest REI bike shop for details and an appointment for this important service.
