I have owned many pairs of SmartWool socks since I began running, and they are the only socks that eliminate my blisters! They are thick and comfortable but don't get hot. Each pair has lasted around 3 years, with using them about once a week before they started to wear thin in the ball of the foot and heel. I love these socks and won't run in anything else.

SmartWool socks are worth the money spent! I am training for a marathon and log many miles on multiple days. My feet are blister-free. I have worn other socks (read "less expensive") and they did not wick away moisture. I have purchased several of pairs of SmartWool socks. I think they are great!

I like Smartwool for their fit and their use of merino wool. A sock however, needs to perform for more than 2 washings. No matter how much I want to love this company, I continually end up with the same results. HOLES! My socks continually wear holes in them, or wear SUPER thin at the heal of the sock and at the ball of the foot. Quality has gone downhill.

I have been a fan of SmartWool hiking socks for eons. I decided to try the running socks. After buying one pair, I am back for more. I was concerned that they might slip down my heel, but they stay put nicely. I wear them to the gym four days a week. They cushion my feet through aerobic workouts. They keep my feet dry on long fitness walks. They wash well. What more could I ask for -- oh, maybe a lower a price, but overall they are well worth it.

This is a great pair of running socks! They're so good, in fact, that I've requested a second pair for Christmas. They perform exactly as a good pair of running socks should: wick away moisture while providing a comfortable pad and regulating temperature. Can't recommend more highly.

Nice fit - they are designed to hug the foot and they do very well. They don't slide down my heel, always a worry with low ankle socks like these. Light and airy even though they are wool. Very soft and comfortable. Pricey but well worth the money.
