Comments about The North Face Tundra -20 Sleeping Bag:
Comfortable bag I use in the Presidentials. I would rec 30*f as the HIGH limit. Not the smallest and not "ultralight", but Im one of those weirdos, who doesn't mind a 30# pack in the winter. Mine weighs in with sack at 4.1#. Only improvement I'd like to see is a lateral strap on the compression sack to keep the package tidy and packable. I put one on myself and it works great. Bottom line, If you're looking to join the "ultralight" community with pop can stoves, Tyvec hats, and framless 2k ci packs, buy a western mountainering. If you want to stay very warm, carry 2 lbs more, and use the $300 you save to buy a real stove and a fleece hat, this is a fantastic bag and you wont be sorry. No buyers remorse here-

Comments about The North Face Tundra -20 Sleeping Bag:
Just got this bag for Christmas and wasted no time using it the week after while backpacking on the Long Trail in the Green Mtns.
Temps got down to around 0 at night and I stayed toasty warm in a 3 walled shelter with 1 layer on. I actually started the night with more, but kept peeling them off so I wouldn't sweat too much.
I am 6' 155 lb. It's roomy enough to roll and adjust position and enough foot room to put water bottles and extra clothes at the bottom (long version). Conditions were damp but synthetic insulation still worked great.
Bag isn't ultra light or super small, but for how warm it is, I'm not sure you'll find a better warmth/size/weight ratio.
If you aren't going to be doing a lot of cold weather camping, i would get a lighter bag and use a bag liner for extra warmth and more versatility.
