Comments about Nathan Steel Flip Straw Water Bottle - 16 fl. oz.:
I love the design of this bottle. The flip top makes it easy to use and quick not having to unscrew anything or even tip your head back!
I had one bottle from May to December and the paint did chip presumably from the dishwasher. (I have the blue yoga model) I also noticed that with any tumble onto pavement there was a new dent. So I love the ease of use, but wish it was a little more durable!

Comments about Nathan Steel Flip Straw Water Bottle - 16 fl. oz.:
I use this bottle at my office to keep water at my desk, which it does fairly well. I like that it has an integrated straw, so that I don't have to tip my head back and lift a full bottle of water over my head every time I want a quick sip. I also like that when the top unscrews, the opening is wide enough to get a brush inside to clean it.
The soft plastic mouthpiece is nice, though sometimes it feels like I'm drinking from an adult-sized sippy-cup. Unfortunately, the mouthpiece is fairly large and exposed, which is fine around the office; however I would not recommend taking it out into nature, where it seems it would be prone to easily picking up dirt. I also wouldn't trust the "QuickClip" to hold up to the abuses of the trail. It's not a double-walled canteen, so filling it with hot or cold liquids will leave you with room-temperature drinks quickly, since the steel is a very good thermal conductor.
Finally, after a few months of what I would consider to be a fairly easy life around the office, the clear lacquer coating on the outside of the stainless steel has already started to chip and peel. I don't play soccer with it, so I can only assume that it's not actually as dishwasher-safe as they claim.
Bottom line: it's good for keeping yourself hydrated around the office, but it shouldn't leave the "civilized world".

Comments about Nathan Steel Flip Straw Water Bottle - 16 fl. oz.:
The very first time I used this bottle, I dropped it outside on the sidewalk top down. The rubber sip valve hit the cement and immediately developed a hole. Not very sturdy....

Comments about Nathan Steel Flip Straw Water Bottle - 16 fl. oz.:
I've only had this bottle for 24hrs, but I love it! I usually carry plastic bike bottles and nalgenes, but wanted something differnt. bike bottles tend to leak and the nalgenes can be big. I threw this bottle around a little, but not leaking by the rim or straw. Ilove that the straw flips flat into the lid so it does rub around my bag and pick up lint. Great plastic area by where the bottle screws on so its easy and even all of the time. No problems with this bottle yet and so long as it does leak ever, it'll be on the top of my list! oh, and love the straw action. doesn't need a whole lot of suction and this way I don't need to flip my bottle up while driving. Finally!! I'm going back for the larger one to put my iced coffee in for work :)
