The Marin Bayview Trail 24 in. girls' bike takes adult-size performance and packs it into a kid-size package of fun, thanks to 70mm of front suspension, great handling and 21 gears.

  • 6061 aluminum frame features hydroformed top and down tubes and is double-butted to strengthen joints; it's also lightweight, so young arms and legs can move it easily
  • Spinner Grind 1 suspension fork provides 70mm of travel to soften hops, bumps and curbs, helping the rider maintain control of the bike
  • The beefy Truvativ X-Flow 3.0 crankset makes climbing easy and scoots your child along swiftly; triple chainrings and Shimano 7-speed cassette combine for 21 speeds total
  • Shimano EZ-FIRE Plus shifters provide intuitive shifting action; linear-pull hand brakes provide controlled deceleration
  • Kenda tires deliver a stable ride and are suitable for both on- and off-road travel

After its initial break-in period you might notice your bicycle performing less responsively than the day you brought it home. To keep running at peak performance, all REI bicycles come with a FREE warranty tune-up, which should be accomplished between the first 100-200 miles of riding or after the first two months if you're accumulating miles less quickly.
