Our women's REI Novara Mezzo capri bike tights feature a non-binding waist, a gel chamois pad and more coverage than shorts for cool-weather cycling.

4-way stretch fabric and 8-panel construction provide support for hard-working muscles; moisture-wicking, quick-drying finish increases comfort
Yoga-inspired waistband features a crossover stretch fabric in front for superior comfort when you're tucked over the bike
Capris contain 88% recycled polyester content and provide excellent pilling- and snag-resistance
Novara Gelspot chamois features a microfiber covering that wicks moisture away; ergonomic shaping and smooth, sonic-welded seams reduce friction
Women-specific, ergonomically-shaped gel chamois conforms to body contours; high-density foam helps provide comfort on the bike

Used these for a 200 mile bike race in Alaska facing strong headwinds, rain and both hot and cold temps. Never had to change out the knickers over 11 hours. The length is long enough that they don't bug your knees as you are pedaling.

I love the design and feel of Novara's lycra shorts (my favorite of the brands I own), and so I decided to buy the capri bike pants. The only problem I have with both of them is the weak seams. Otherwise, I would give five stars.

I have had these knickers for probably two years now and have used them throughout the year both outdoors and in regular spinning classes I taught. They are my only pair of cycling pants so I have used them a LOT over the two years. The quality of these is superb, particularly for the price. The material is much thicker and nicer than more expensive brands and they have held up wonderfully, despite the abuse I showed them by putting them in the dryer! The waistband is awesome and they're really flatterring. I am 5'6" and found that the length is only slightly longer than I'd like, but my research has found that they're the same length as the rest of the knickers on the market. Definitely a great purchase on my part and I'd recommend them to anyone.

Love these capris!
1) best waistband out there - comfy design and not too low or too high.
2) Padding is good even for long rides (60+)
3) appreciate how it shapes you and provides good knee support for those who need it
4) Better sun coverage than shorts

What's not to love? Well, have to admit I have large calves and the beads that keep the capris in place at the hem start to irritate me after a few hours but then I just roll up that band and I am good to go.

I have had these knickers for two months and I love them. I ride 4-5 times per week and I am really surprised how fantastic these have turned out to be. First of all, I wish all of my shorts had this waistband - it is very comfortable. I have long legs and I am very happy that these hit me just below the knee. I tried on other knickers that didn't even cover my knees! The chamois is comparable to some of my high end shorts that were TWICE the price. The fabric is fast drying, but the chamois is so padded that it takes a full day to dry. No problem!
