Currently the arguably best "superzoom" camera is the Canon SX40HS. This case from a reliable manufacturer fits this camera perfectly, with its grip facing upwards, and with enough space left to tuck the camera's neckstrap inside. The lid has space left for an extra SDHC card, and the outside pocket has enough space for an extra battery, and some lens tissue. The strap is long enough to allow a cross body carry. Particularly with the included raincover, the Mountainsmith Small Zoom Camera Case should keep this camera or others similar protected from dirt and moisture.

We love this product! My husband is VERY picky when it comes to camera bags and this one fit his fancy! We just bought a new camcorder which fits perfectly in this case. The small removable divider inside allows the cords & camera to be seperate, however, he has contemplated using that space for our regular digital camera when on trips. Very versitle-overall contruction of this camera appears to be quite durable! Can't wait to take it on a pack trip to see how it holds up!
