Comments about Suunto Core Extreme Multifunction Watch - Limited Edition:

Beautiful watch. Has most of the functions I want. It has a compass, altimeter, etc. Band is tricky to get off so I have confidence that the watch won't fall off during a hike.

Seems like the battery life wouldn't last long if using the compass a lot. When the backlight is on during looking at the compass mode, the backlight blinks.
Alarm is pretty weak sounding. Definitely can't depend on it to wake you up unless your a light sleeper.
Depending on the light, it's hard to read the time, even with the backlight being on.

Overall I do like the watch. Those problems are relatively light compare to the overall ability. Great thing about it is that it looks very good and I can wear it around just about anywhere without having it feel out of place.
