Comments about Eton American Red Cross Solarlink FR360 Radio:
I got this product from Radio Shack and it doesn't work. It's the same model as the one shown on the screen. The sound quality is very poor on the FM band. When you wind the radio, the battery sometimes only lasts for a few seconds before shutting off--and it's very aggravating. I feel like I wasted my allowance money and will be returning it to the store where I bought it.

Comments about Eton American Red Cross Solarlink FR360 Radio:
I have a radio-nut friend who showed me this. Since then we've found out that he had a "good" one, but the next 7 we've tried were bad. Unfortunately the one I got from REI was one of the latter. REI did make the return amazingly easy and painless.
The good:
Very respectable reception (especially FM), Great power options with sturdy dynamo and effective solar charging,
Easy to use controls,
Good LED light,
Not very small, but quite light.
Flimsy feeling controls.
The bad:
Battery dead on arrival and won't charge (1 radio)
Solar panel won't charge when battery dead (1 radio)
No FM reception (6 radios!)
Overall, if you get one that works, this radio has great features and is well thought out.
