Comments about Aqua-Bound Seaclude Carbon Paddle - '09 Seconds:
ALl of the above. Very light and smooth. Found that I can just cut through the water. Makes a great paddle for all day recreation without your arms getting tired.

Comments about Aqua-Bound Seaclude Carbon Paddle - '09 Seconds:
Purchased this "seconds" paddle from here about a month ago. There is no observable difference in appearance; no blemishes, scratches, bends, etc. This is a vastly superior upgrade over our other paddles, Aquabound Stingray (Aluminum), and they cost the same. You cannot go wrong with this paddle at this price.

Comments about Aqua-Bound Seaclude Carbon Paddle - '09 Seconds:
As a beginning kayaker, I wasn't sure what paddle to buy. The folks at REI recommended two other Aqua-Bound paddles in my price point ([$]) but the less expensive one didn't have the handy grooves on the shaft and was heavier, and the more expensive one was, well, about $50 more than I wanted to spend.I found that this paddle had the lightweight carbon shaft I wanted, as well as the grooving, and it was at the [$] I was looking to spend. You can't even tell it's a second - there are no noticeable markings or blemishes anywhere. I've used it on several different kayaks for day trips in fresh and salt water, and it works great. Powerful, quiet, comfortable. If I was more knowledgeable about paddles I might be able to offer more information, but I've found that it's a great value for my purposes thus far.
