Comments about Clif Quench Sport Drink - 16 oz.:
oh man where to start!
this stuff all looks like...a salty, sticky substance. because REI doesn't have it in coolers, buying it warm means tasting a harsh, salty, sticky drink that, (as I've seen it put) "feels like someone spit in your mouth."
As for the labels on the bottle, I'm always concerned when I see a % of organic (88 in this case.) what is the other percent? hanford nuclear reservation fallout? synthesized whale blood?
Finally, I'm never happy to see single serve bottles...i don't care if there 50% recycled and whatnot...it's still a TON of waste...use powders or tablets.
tastes like....errr, something not good, harsh flavors, and just plain bad.

Comments about Clif Quench Sport Drink - 16 oz.:
Saw it on the shelf at the local REI and decided to pick up two of the Lime-Ade flavor for a short 8 mile section hike on the A.T. Put it in the fridge the night before and packed it in my daypack prior to heading out. Drank one during the 1/2 way break at the top of the mountain while eating a light lunch.
The flavor was good. Not too sweet like some drinks. Seemed to keep me hydrated and energized with no "crashes" later. It was light tasting and was not sticky or "thick". Haven't tried the other flavors.
Looks like the current price is under a dollar. I'll be picking up a few more.

Ugh!!! I tried the limeade flavor today...I don't mind most energy drinks, whether they're too salty or sweet or whatever. But THIS was the worst I've ever tasted. It has a distinctly lavendar-ey taste. Imagine that you have a subpar watered down lime flavored energy drink. Then pour two tablespoons of lavender oil into it. This is exactly what the Clif limeade tastes like...I can't testify for the other flavors, but avoid the lime at all costs!

Comments about Clif Quench Sport Drink - 16 oz.:
My son and I both really like Quench. I tried it because I regularly buy the Clif and Mojo bars. I like that this is not as sweet as other drinks and has real sugar - no HFCS. After a long workout I do not want an overly sweet drink and Quench is perfect. My son is drinking them faster than I can buy them. My only issue is the price. They need to get the per oz price down more competive. It is 3 times the cost of Gatorade which I buy 32oz/$1.
