The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about CatEye SL-LD110 Loop Rear Bike Light:
This light is awesome for [$]. I am not sure what the other reviewers were looking for. It is easy to take it out of DEMO MODE by holding the button for 5 seconds and seeing it blink 5 times. I put this LED Light on my BOB Revolution Stroller for night time visibility. The bungee holding device worked great and I really can't expect more for this low price. If you are looking for a high end bike light COUGH UP THE MONEY but don't give good products like this one a bad review.

Comments about CatEye SL-LD110 Loop Rear Bike Light:
The newer packaging has each light with a little tag reminding people to take it out of try-it-out mode. Starting with it off, you have to hold the switch for over 10 seconds. If you do that, it will blink quickly and then turn off. I found the switch hard to hold down by hand. Pushing it down table made it really easy.
I recommend it because it's light, easy to mount and very visible head on and the sides, too.

Comments about CatEye SL-LD110 Loop Rear Bike Light:
I just got this light for Christmas. I like the bungee attachment. It's easy to remove and adjust. It's also very bright.
I too had a lot of difficulty getting it to stay on at first. To get out of demo mode you need to hold down the on switch until it blinks 5 times. Now that it's finally staying on, I like it.
Also agree with some reviews that the switch is too stiff. They could have made it easier to push on.

Comments about CatEye SL-LD110 Loop Rear Bike Light:
I bought two of these to use during Hood to Coast last August. Our team ran using them ALL NIGHT. They are very bright compared to the cheap hard plastic lights everyone else used. We had some of the cheap ones too but they quickly broke.
Soft rubber material makes them water (sweat) resistant. We started the race with four sets of lights. By the end of the race only the Cats Eye lights were still functioning. The cheapo's were toast. We're buying 6 more to use this year.

This light is cool. Really small/light and easy to attach/remove almost anywhere.
EASY to get out of demo mode if you just follow instructions.
I LIKE the button. So simple to just push down on the light. No searching for it.

Comments about CatEye SL-LD110 Loop Rear Bike Light:
This one is not worth buying. The switch is very stiff.
The light comes with a "demo mode" for store display that turns off the light after about 20 seconds. The instructions say you can switch it to regular mode. Good luck on that.

Comments about CatEye SL-LD110 Loop Rear Bike Light:
We actually use this as a "dog light" for our dog while on night hikes and walks. It works great because we can thread it over the handle on her REI Classic Dog Pack. It's bright enough to be seen from a distance, but diffused enough not to ruin our night vision. It has a very broad beam as well, so you can see it well from just about any angle. It also appears to be pretty durable.
The only downer is that the on/off button is a little stiff.
Note: I would not thread this over a dog's collar as the shape may cause some pinching, but it works great on any kind of strap or handle that isn't making contact with their body.
