I bought these bottles on Camelbak's claim that they would not leak on my bike frame. They were right. They cured the leak problem but after a few months of use, I found ugly, black mold growing in the nipple and have been unable to rinse or soak it away with bleach or vinegar. You have to disassemble the nipple apparatus and soak and scrub the parts. The nipple is not easy to take apart and some of the parts, such as the small rubber diaphragm, is somewhat fragile and probably won't stand repeated handling.
I suggest avoiding Podium bottles until Camelbak solves the mold problem.

Good water bottle. Fits well in cage, doesn't leak, easy to use.
The water bottle works best when squeezed, so if there is not much water left getting a drink can be tricky.
Overall its a good bottle with a neat nipple design.

Nothing is worse than pulling open a sand/dirt covered nipple with your teeth during a race. These stay open all the time and do not leak. They are heavy plastic and hard to squeeze at first but do break in over time and become easier to use.

these are the best bottles i've found. they don't leak even when open, which is huge when riding on rough terrain, if you need to lay your bike down, or if you're using them for a trail run. nothing better than not having liquid splash out of your bottle during a run..
they also have a twist lock feature that allows them to be securely sealed so it's impossible to accidently spill these guys. outstanding.
in terms a "mold" problem that another review brought up, well to me that's asinine. if you leave a bottle dirty, especially for days at a time, it's going to mold regardless of manufacturer. duh. anyone with a camelbak or who has experience with bottles knows that if you don't keep these things clean, the bacteria from your mouth, and sugar from drink mixes is going to mold up in a hurry. how camelbak could solve this for a consumer, as suggested by another reviewer is well beyond me.
