The Orion Alert/Locate Daytime signal kit will help you get the attention of rescuers in a variety of ways, all without the use of fire.

  • Kit includes a flourescein dye signal marker, a chemiluminescent light stick, a safety whistle, a signal mirror and a signal flag
  • Spread the powder flourescein dye signal marker on ground, snow or water to produce a bright green signal that can help you be seen by search and rescue crews
  • Chemiluminescent light stick glows for 8 hrs.; stick is easy to use, nontoxic and waterproof; plus, it floats
  • High-decibel whistle emits a loud, shrill sound; whistle is designed for outdoor use as there are no metal parts that will rust or freeze in damp, cold weather
  • Unbreakable signal mirror features a view finder to help you aim the sun's reflection at rescuers; includes a lanyard
  • 2.5 sq. ft. signal flag has "HELP" printed in large black letters; heavy-duty vinyl construction withstands use in the outdoors; included ties let you attach flag to a tree
