I can't both hold the noozle firm to the stem with one hand and pump with the other. When you push the noozle to the stem, of course the stem sinks into the tire wheel frame, so you have to pinch it to hold it; I can't do three things with two hands.
I couldn't get the noozle to both push in the stem valve, hold the stem outside the wheel and stay aligned and sealed while pumping. I'm going to buy a pump with a clamp and am returning this otherwise nicely overbuilt pump; great feel and air pressure. Its a little heavy. Good for protection if you also wanted to use it as a cudgle! German made precision, but the two critical internal parts for connecting to the stem valve are plastic and rubber and I just can't get them to work in alignment easily; I give up. Maybe I need practice, but I have an electric pump in the car and I wanted something for on-the-go, just in case.
