    The Atlas snow shoes seem to have a bad reputation due to the way snow flips up when walking, these shoes do flip snow but that is easily solved by wearing the correct water resistant clothing (soft or hard shell).These were purchased due to the recommendation of the [...]. The bindings worked well, I was able to get them off and on with no assistance, they stayed secure during the whole trip. The narrow width of the shoe makes walking easier, these are very easy to turn around in and step over obstacles. There design promotes a normal gait pattern.
