Too much padding
This is my first set of bicyle shorts, so maybe I'm expecting too much. I found the padding too thick and inflexible. It causes sliding around on the seat and when transitioning from standing to sitting, the padding catches on the front of the seat. And no, I don't have them on inside out. The fit is excellent and they would be quite comfortable if the padding was thinner. Because it is so thick, it allows some movement between the skin and fabric, resulting in the occasional chafe.
