Comments about Organic Food Bar Inc. Organic Food Bar:
So glad to finally find Organic Food Bar at REI! What a great price! I have been eating these bars for years and paying up to $3 per bar.
All the Organic Food Bars are soy free, dairy free, peanut free, non GMO, no corn syrup, Kosher and Vegan certified, most are gluten free. They are the #1 selling organic bars in the USA according to SPINscan Data for 100% certified organic category.
They use organic European sprouted flax and quinoa, European almond butter, Canadian wild berries, low glycemic, Vegan friendly agave nectar, and more! Organic Food Bars are alkaline-forming, cold-processed, and rich in nutrient dense sprouts.
The larger 68/75 gram bars especially the Green and Protein Bars are effective organic meals for me at 180 pounds.
They have healthy fats, complex carbs and natural low glycemic sugars. And because they are 100% certified organic you can be sure that your body is getting the vital nutrients that are missing in our commercially grown food supply including; trace minerals, probiotic (friendly bacteria that establishes our immune system) and enzymes that are usually destroyed while cooking in other foods. There is no other bar on the market that can claim the finest in the world.

Comments about Organic Food Bar Inc. Organic Food Bar:
I have been a professional triathlete for over a decade. In my quest for competitive excellence, I have tried and tested every bar on the planet. I am also a health journalist for CBS, and the author of five health/fitness books, so I've spent a lot of time researching this category to separate the pretenders from the players. Organic Food Bar is the finest bar I have found for healthful meal replacement and for endurance training. I see so many recreational athletes train smart and then eat high-glycemic, processed, acid-forming bars -- which is antithetical to everything they are trying to achieve. This is the cleanest-burning fuel for anyone looking to maximize their physical performance and optimize their health. Period.

Comments about Organic Food Bar Inc. Organic Food Bar:
When it comes to outdoor survival and extreme conditions, you want a bar that is not only a piece of healthy organic whole food, but it should also be an effective meal that is nutrient dense and alkalizing for proper pH balance (blocks lactic acid build up which causes muscle burn, fatigue and soreness during outdoor sports) Unlike others with such acid forming and down right unhealthy ingredients like peanut butter, rice syrup, and cashews, Organic Food Bar goes the extra mile with the finest organic alkalizing (for proper pH balance) whole foods ingredients such as the #1 ingredient; organic almonds-the healthiest nut in the world by far (and most expensive I might add), organic brown rice protein (with a complete amino acid profile), sprouted flax and quinoa (they only use sprouts), agave nectar and organic honey, and much more. Surprisingly, these bars are delicious too! I use "Active Green" for breakfast loaded with super foods to get into the day, Organic Food Bar "Protein" for lunch when I need that extra charge and, well, maybe a piece of the "Belgium Chocolate" or "Blueberry" after a dinner of (maybe) fresh caught trout. enjoy!
