This is a great bag for biking, especially when you need to carry decent sized loads. I carry a lunch bag, 32oz of water, work shoes, pants, shirt, and jacket in here, with plenty of room to spare. Unless we need a bunch of milk or rice, I can often get a week's worth of groceries in here for my family of 3. This thing is huge.
It seems durable too. I've had it for 2 years now, and have thrown it around, dragged it on the ground, left it outside several days on accident, and it still looks sharp. Totally waterproof too.
Only drawbacks are that there's not much organization---it's a big huge sack, with only one small outside pocket. They do sell a cheap insert though, which has an internal organizer and key loop.
Also, because it's so big, if you're small like me, it can be difficult to look over your shoulder on a bike ride. To fix that, I just dip my head down a little more, and also got a mirror on my handlebars. Problem solved.
A nice, big, unique bag that'll likely last forever.

My personal experience with THIS backpack:
in the begining we noticed how uncomfortable the backpack straps are, behing your neck/head area, it continuosly grabs and hangs on your skin. This is due to the "handle" built out of the backpack straps which instead of seperating, unite instead.
After 2 weeks of usage in easy, light-weight day trips the backpack BROKE. A HOLE was made by the rupture of the backpack fabric right where the seam/rubber patch holds the back-straps to the fabric. This means now I have a hole where the water gushes in everytime water slips through my back in the rain…. and I bought this for its waterproof quality! bah!
Then the WAIST-STRAP, continuosly slipped-OFF the backpack, it seems there its a factory-mistake (yet another).
I later discovered that the Urban Backpack is made in CHINA. While the other-one I own Sealline PRO back pack is made in the USA.
Conclusion: the Urban Backpack is a bad-quality, expensive backpack that is in no way value for money! I would rather buy a 10 dollar bag at a chinise-cheap store, in the end, it would last just as long!

Just got back from a trip to SE AK where it POURED rain 96.4% of the time. Was out hiking up and down the river sight-fishing all day and used the pack to bring along a dry coat, socks, food, maps, ect. Everything stayed perfectly dry the whole 5 days. Also used the large capacity to my advantage on the plane for it is acceptable size for a carry-on. I would recommend this bag for anyone considering a waterproof fishing pack!

Comments about SealLine Urban Backpack - Large:
I've been using this pack on my ride to work for a couple weeks now. It is more comfortable when loaded than the single-shoulder messenger style bags I've used in the past. I'm quite happy with the capacity and comfort. Seems well put together as well.
The only thing keeping this pack from 5 stars for me is the fact that the roll-top closure can obscure your view a bit when you check traffic over your shoulder. Not a huge deal but I find myself having to make more of an effort to look around the bag than I did with my messenger bag. Also, you pretty much have to also buy the organizer accessory otherwise any small items will disappear into the bottom of the pack.
The ability to carry a heavy load and the waterproofing more than makes up for the visibility issues though.

I have worn this stuffed with gear and electronics in heavy rain, storms, and high wind. Why? I ride a motorcycle in the mountains and on the freeways during the winter storms. I also ride my bicycle in town during the same conditions.
I do not like velcro attachments for critical areas, so this is superlative for a hook connection that will not fail with time as the velcro will.

This bag is good for bringing home groceries not too big - not too small.
