    Comments about Burton Ruler Snowboard Boots - '09/'10:

    Wore these boots 3 days of consecutive boarding at Heavenly, Tahoe. Kept my feet warm and dry the whole time. Very comfortable and fits true to size (I wear a 9.5). The lacing system is definitely a plus. Had to replace my 04 Burton Ions since I've outgrown them. A bit weary about the down grade, but with the new Burton boot designs, I definitely felt the comparable difference in comfort and convenience once I threw on the pair of Ruler. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating is due to the lacing system. Once the laces are worn in and stretched, there's a huge possibility the locking system will be ineffective. But, Burton and REI provides great warranty service, so I guess that mitigates the sense of trepidation. Can't beat the price and quality of these boots. I highly recommend them for the listed applications.
