    I live in New England & wear these slippers as soon as it gets chilly. I've had mine since 2002 I think & they have have started showing signs of wear. I wear them in the house & have worn them outside to get the mail & walk around the house - they are awesome. After about 6-7 years I think I might need a fresh pair but the ones I have are still perfectly warm & comfy, VERY durable!
