Inside stitching in both index and middle fingers gave out within a month exposing the waterproof plastic layer. Returned for a refund.

I tried these on my morning commute and they couldn't even keep my fingers warm for two miles in 35 degree weather. Definitely not for cold weather.

Comments about Novara Rainy Pass Bike Gloves - Men's:
I used these gloves last week riding down the C&O Towpath in Maryland. The gloves got a fair test of durability, comfort, warmth and rainproof over 170 miles and 5 days of riding up to 45 miles/day.
These gloves are certainly comfortable and the nose wipe material is finally soft enough so one doesn't need to be concerned about making matters worse.
As the temp dipped into the low 40's, high 30's my fingers eventually, but not long after starting to ride, went numb - indeed almost to the painful stage.
The last day of riding provided the water test over 35 miles. The gloves failed. Now I'll admit water resistant/proof are slippery terms but if your ride takes you out in the rain over 1 hour, these are not for you.
And of course, low temps around 40 with rain make these gloves worthless.
Finally, the seam on the left glove opened up on the cuff.

Comments about Novara Rainy Pass Bike Gloves - Men's:
I have a fifteen minute commute. These are the first gloves to keep my hands warm and dry for the duration. The shell sheds water well. It hasn't been really cold yet, but down to 40 degrees they have been furnace warm.
I have a bit of trouble getting the cuffs inside the sleeves of my Express jacket, but the plus is that I can leave my watch on.

Comments about Novara Rainy Pass Bike Gloves - Men's:
I use during daily commute, however, after washing (we followed the instructions) the inner lining separated and twisted. It took almost an hour of careful work to make them wearable. They are being replaced this season.

Comments about Novara Rainy Pass Bike Gloves - Men's:
I've used an early pair of these for over 2 winters and finally wore them out. The seam came loose on the bottom of the palm where the leather meets the nylon. I tried to sew it up but it didn't work and started to rip. I am a bit surprised that it ripped but they did last 2 year. I'm able to wear these gloves till the temps get to about the mid to high 20's before I switch to something warmer.
